We are looking for our first full-time Business Development Manager to join our team at Makrwatch. Our vision is to create financial opportunities for hundreds of thousands of content creators worldwide, and we are heading there faster than ever.
As a Business Development Manager at Makrwatch, you will be part of a small team of two, and have the opportunity to make a big impact from day one and to quickly gain full autonomy in your day to day activities. We are looking for a team member who can thrive in an uncertain environment; someone who is a resourceful builder with a strong bias to action.
What do we do at Makrwatch?
We want to evolve influencer marketing to become more transparent, sustainable, and focused on improving people's lives. We provide a full-service solution to help brands collaborate with content creators to run exciting influencer marketing campaigns.
With a sharp focus on performance, we ensure that our clients (the brands) business goals are met. When working with a brand, Makrwatch manages the whole influencer program from the beginning (creator selections outreach), to end (publications), including all the operations in between (negotiations, contracting, payment). Our team has built a powerful technology that has automated many processes along the way, to offer a seamless professional service to the brands.
What are the sales team’s responsibilities from a day-to-day perspective?
The sales team is in direct contact with the clients, the brands that want to work with creators. As a Business Development Manager, you will own the relationship with prospects from the moment they have the first contact with Makrwatch, until the sale is closed. You will be responsible to qualify the lead, follow-up with the contact and provide exceptional credibility in all touch points throughout the process. You will also play a major part in the new client onboarding, ensuring a successful handover and that all the client’s business goals are met when the Service team is working on the influencer program.
Who are we looking for?
You are someone who learns quickly, and are able to apply your own sales experience to the Makrwatch process and improve it. We are looking for someone who is humble, has high levels of empathy and can position Makrwatch as a trusted source of influencer marketing knowledge to its clients. This role also requires you to act autonomously, make decisions, and be critical of current operations. For that, we are looking for a team member who is organized and can follow through a process, has an extreme attention to detail and a continuous innovative mindset.
It is a full-time, 100% remote position. We do not have a centralized office, but our clients are mostly based in the USA. We are advertising this position in several countries.
