Makrwatch’s vision is to create financial opportunities for hundreds of thousands of content creators around the world, regardless of their location.
We are in hypergrowth, having doubled our revenue every year over the past 3 years and growing our team to almost 20 people from around 10 last year. You will be the first HR Generalist of Makrwatch and will be working directly with the CEO to solidify the culture, values, principles and behaviors that have helped us succeed so far.
Nevertheless, the challenge is how we will scale our team, help our current team members develop their career in Makrwatch and recruit and scale our team in a healthy, human centered way. We are multicultural, from different continents and countries and are very sensitive to cultural relativity despite trying to build a cohesive common corporate culture.
We call this position an HR Generalist, because some of the responsibilities will involve heavy execution, strategizing for the mid-long term and learning as you go how to develop the building blocks of our nascent HR department. You will find this position an ideal fit for you if you enjoy measuring your success and keeping track of all the initiatives and how they impact the whole organization.
Finally, we have a clear idea of what we expect from you. However, we also expect you to know more than us about HR and guide us on how we should build and design HR for the future.
Help us source and recruit, including all the activities related to it (eg: Maintaining and improving our ATS System, managing marketing that helps us build a healthy pipeline including paid/inbound marketing, designing our hiring plan etc..)
Manage our team member career lifecycle with Makrwatch (eg: Onboarding/Offboarding procedures, performance reviews, team surveys, study plans, cultural alignments, employee relations, teamwork management etc..)
Organize our management team, so they can work cohesively with the rest of the team members (eg: Designing/Maintaining a management system, tracking 1-1’s, detecting problems and risks, maintaining a general view of each team member etc..)
Maintain our administrative tasks with our team (eg: Partnering with accounting for payroll, managing benefits administrations, manage team information and internal wiki and other legal process as necessary)
Assist the CEO in developing our business strategy for HR, by learning and scaling yourself to help us know where to focus our efforts and resources more efficiently.
Manage and design our wellness, cultural, learning and training programs.
Protect, nourish and enhance our corporate, team and individual culture.
