We are looking for our first full-time marketing hire to join our team at Makrwatch. Our vision is to create financial opportunities for hundreds of thousands of content creators worldwide, and we are heading there faster than ever.
We want to evolve influencer marketing to become more transparent, sustainable, and focused on improving peoples lives. We provide a full-service solution to help brands collaborate with content creators to run exciting influencer marketing campaigns.
As the first marketing manager at Makrwatch, your role will be to plan and execute marketing initiatives to improve and distribute the Makrwatch brand. We are looking for a generalist who can thrive in an uncertain environment; someone who is a resourceful builder with a strong bias to action.
From a day-to-day perspective, as a marketing manager you will work with other team members or freelancers to launch content marketing initiatives directed at helping the creator community and potential clients. You will also support account managers at Makrwatch by giving your perspective about opportunities to leverage creators' content with our current clients.
Creativity and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate has a passion for content and its creation, has a passion for creating brand communities, and has high levels of empathy. The marketing manager should be an expert at abstracting the needs of the Makrwatch stakeholders and translating those needs into marketing initiatives that can drive revenue growth and new business opportunities.
The roles' focus is developing the Makrwatch brand, providing valuable content to the creator community, understanding the influencer marketing landscape, and promoting new Makrwatch products.
This role also requires you to act autonomously, make decisions, and feel comfortable with a lot of responsibility. You will have to ideate, launch and lead brand new initiatives, source resources within the team or externally, and adapt quickly to the fast pace of Makrwatch, all while producing tangible results.
The ideal candidate should be communicative, candid, resourceful, responsible, flexible, adaptable, be a self-starter, creative problem-solver, and enthusiastic about taking on significant responsibilities. You should have industry experience working in an advertising agency or a marketing role with a heavy focus on content marketing. The position requires a consultative approach to working with the internal team, creative skills, and the ability to thrive when delivering large volumes of work against tight deadlines.
It is a full-time, 100% remote position. We do not have an office, but our clients are mostly based in the USA. We are advertising this position in several countries.
